Mar 25,  · the original vinyl sounds much different from the newly remastered version. the vocals are much more buried in the mix and the whole thing feels more like texture, personally i much prefer the original pressing, it arguably makes more sense sonically. the remasters sound more poppy whilst the pressing sounds more like a meditation on rhythm if that makes any sense. both are really great /5().

8. Have this album on cassette since about , when I was a serious fan of The Fall. Great to have it now on CD. I'd consider this their best album, with brilliant tracks such as 'Mr Pharmacist', 'Living Too Late' and 'Riddler'. Kind of brings me back to a mad but happy time in my life/5(24).
